Picassitos 101(Little Picassos in Spanish) is real fine art sessions for the little ones. (Tuesdays)

Children learn best while playing and mimicking adults. That's why one adult must attend the sessions with the child. Children will play with colors, brushes and will create a beautiful composition with real professional acrylic paint on small canvas. Meanwhile, they will learn to name the colors in Spanish and other basic words.

Our teaching method focus on the development of gross and fine motor skills by using professional brushes and tools to apply the paint and to create textures.

Every session the child applies a new layer of paint and/or more details to the artwork, just as a professional artist will do. After the 4 sessions are completed, each child/parent team will have completed a professional looking painting ready to be framed.

While Picassitos 101 concentrates in the development of motor skills and familiarity with color and media, Picassitos 102 (Thursdays) focus on the development of observation and problem solving skills and the understanding of the creative process.
